The Challenge of Coexistence (El Desafio de la Convivencia) film screening (4 Dec 2008 )
The Challenge of Coexistence (El Desafio de la Convivencia), a documentary film on Haitian immigrants in the Dominican Republic will be shown as part of the Discovering Latin America Film Festival. Directed by Progressio development worker Tigu Guimarães the film interrogates the background, conditions, economics and the multi-faceted results of Haitian migration to the Dominican Republic.

Progressio is delighted that Discovering Latin America has chosen to support our work with women affected by HIV and AIDS in the Dominican Republic by making Progressio the official beneficiary of their well-known film festival. The DLA festival takes place in London from Thursday November 27 to Sunday December 7. Enjoy an inspiring selection of Latin American films safe in the knowledge that your money is supporting HIV and AIDS projects on the front line.
